Aurora Wilson Continues to Hide the Truth – Where’s the Transparency at COD?

As recent as early October 2022, Trustee Aurora Wilson continues to deny that College of the Desert has delayed its efforts to provide the public all the information about how decisions were made to cancel Roadrunner Motors in Cathedral City and pause the West Valley Campus in Palm Springs. The City of Palm Springs had to file a lawsuit against COD for delaying their request for public records dating back to December 2021. COD’s leadership has said it will make those public records available on November 18^th, tens days after you get to vote for the governing board.

Dr. Joel Kinnamon urges COD to release those public records today! Be transparent and let the public know exactly who in leadership has been making these horrible decisions that has caused COD’s delays in construction costing taxpayers million more, plummeting enrollments, and not filling faculty positions in order to offer classes throughout the Coachella Valley. The voters deserve to know!
